Cabling & Bracing

Cabling and bracing are done to prevent failure of trees with poor structure. We use a variety of sizes and types of material to fit structural support needs.

Services Offered

Mechanical tree support can be used to support trees for a number of reasons. One reason could be if you have a multi-stem tree with a poor union between the stems. It connects the stems high in the canopy to use the stems to brace each other to lower the risk of failure.

Another system can be used to repair smaller trees that have partially failed by putting a long bolt through the center of the failing union to hold it together. This system is normally used in conjunction with another support system higher in the canopy.

A Certified Arborist could take a look at the tree in question and let you know if this is a good fit. Reduction pruning may also be recommended with this service.
